This work is in part supplementary to the English edition of Exquemelin's Bucaniers of America, printed in London, 1684, and in part a vindication of the English, especially Captain Henry Morgan, from the aspersions of that writer
"The adventures of Capt. Barth. Sharp, and others in the South Sea", pages 1-114, 2nd count, differs from both Basil Ringrose's account, published in "Bucaniers of America", the second volume. Containing the dangerous voyage ... of Captain Bartholomew Sharp", printed in London, 1685, and Sharpe's own journal as printed in William Hack's Collection of original voyages, 1699. The account here is based on a journal by John Cox

"Nevis in the West-Indies, August 18. 1683", pages 121-123, has separate caption title and recounts the voyages of Captain Charles Carlisle in his ship the Francis
"The true relation of Admiral Henry Morgans expedition against the Spaniards in the West-Indies, in the year 1670", pages 124-144, has separate caption title
"Don Juan Perez de Guzman president of Panama, his Relation of the late action of the English there in the West-Indies. Being a letter intercepted by them, as it was going into Spain, and brought to Admiral Morgan. Rendered into English, out of the Spanish", pages 145-159, has separate caption title
"The relation of Colonel Beeston, his voyage to Cathagena, for adjusting to the peace made in Spain, for the West-Indies, &c.", pages 160-172, has separate caption title
